What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files that are stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, to provide reporting information and for personalized/targeted advertising.
Cookies set by the website owner (in this case, Techsol) are called “first party cookies”. Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the website (e.g. advertising, interactive content, and analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.
We use first and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons to operate our Website, and we refer to these as “essential” or “strictly necessary” cookies. Other cookies also enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Websites, applications and other platforms (“Online Properties“). Third parties serve cookies through our Websites for advertising, analytics and other purposes. This is described in more detail below.
The specific types of first and third-party cookies served through our Websites and the purposes they perform are described below (please note that the specific cookies served may vary depending on the specific Online Properties you visit):
Analytics and customization cookies:
These cookies collect information that is used either in aggregate form to help us understand how our Website are being used or how effective our marketing campaigns are, or to help us customize our Websites for you.

Strictly Necessary Cookies:
These cookies are necessary for the Online Properties to function and cannot be turned off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions you take which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in, or filling out forms. You may be able to set your browser to block or alert you about some of these cookies. However, if you block these cookies some parts of our Online Properties will not work.
|PHPSESSID||Techsol (first-party cookie)||This is a cookie generated by applications based on the PHP language. It is a general-purpose identifier used to maintain user session variables.||Session|
These cookies allow us, among other things, to count Online Properties visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our Online Properties. They help us to know which pages are the most – and least – popular, and see how you move around the Online Properties. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not know when you have visited our Online Properties and will not be able to monitor our Online Properties’ performance.
|_gat||Techsol (first-party cookie)||This cookie is associated with Google Universal Analytics. According to available documentation, it is used to throttle the request rate – limiting the collection of data on high traffic sites.||10 minutes|
These cookies enable the Online Properties to provide enhanced functionality and personalization. They may be used by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our Online Properties. If you do not allow these cookies, then some or all of these services may not function properly.
|devicePixelRatio||Techsol (first-party cookie)||This cookie is used to make the Online Properties responsive to the user’s screen size.||Session|
These cookies may be used on the Online Properties by our advertising partners (or set directly by our advertising partners). They record your visits to our Website, the pages you have visited, and the links you have followed. They are used by our advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant advertisements on our Online Properties as well as other sites. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.
|IDE||DoubleClick (Google) (third-party cookie)||This cookie is used by DoubleClick for advertising that Google serves across the Internet.||10 Days|
What about other tracking technologies, like web beacons?
Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may use other, similar technologies from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called “tracking pixels” or “clear gifs”). These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable us to recognize when someone has visited our Websites or opened an e-mail that we have sent them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our Websites to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our Websites from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning.
How can I control cookies?
You may also set your browser to send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. For more information, please visit https://www.aboutcookies.org/ and https://allaboutdnt.com/. Please note that our Websites do not have the capability to respond to “Do Not Track” signals received from web browsers.
You may also control your online behavioral advertising preferences and opt out from having your data processed by certain marketing companies by visiting http://www.youronlinechoices.com/, https://www.aboutcookies.org/how-to-control-cookies/, and http://optout.aboutads.info/. Please note that managing these preferences will not turn off internet advertisements in general. You will receive the same amount of advertisements, but it will be less reflective of your interests, as based on your web browsing habits. The opt-out preferences that you set may be nullified if you delete your cookies.
